As trusted messengers, community health workers and health navigators can help provide reliable information about COVID-19 and flu vaccinations and other routine immunizations. Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills can be used to guide respectful and empathetic discussions around vaccination. In this interactive course, you will learn basic MI skills and then build on this foundation to incorporate strategies that will help you navigate challenging conversations with clients. Includes time for guided practice.
You will receive a free skills assessment as part of this training and the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one coaching session.
