Navigator Volunteer Opportunity at UCHealth
UCHealth – University of Colorado Hospital has launched a Volunteer Patient Navigator program in their primary care clinics and is expanding! The vision of this program is to empower patients to improve their health and well-being, by helping them access the best available community resources to meet their needs. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and undergo specific training to be a volunteer patient navigator. Navigators are then integrated into the primary care setting and assist patients with their needs alongside social workers, nurse case managers, and medical providers. This program provides a unique opportunity to participate as an important part of patients’ care team at UCHealth!
