This part-time, grant-funded position at Denver Health will improve the well-being of Latinos/nas with kidney failure receiving dialysis by providing them with support to improve adherence to dialysis care (e.g. making sure they don’t miss dialysis and making sure they understand their salt/fluid restriction) and with support to improve social challenges (e.g. trouble with transportation, housing, and food). The navigator will travel to kidney care clinics to conduct study enrollment, intervention and follow-up with adult patients on dialysis.
No experience necessary. The ideal candidate has a passion for helping the Latino/na community and a personal experience with kidney failure.
