Topics in this comprehensive “Level 1” training include patient communication, health promotion and professional conduct. Don‘t miss this opportunity to network with other patient navigators!
This 7-week course will include both online coursework (reading, quizzes, assignments) as well as Live Learning Sessions via Zoom. Live Learning sessions will be held from noon-1 pm MT on the following dates:
- May 16
- June 6
- June 13
- June 20
- June 27
Please note: This is a pilot course and the time commitment is estimated to be 2-3 hours per week, but may be more or less. Permission from your supervisor is required. Attendance at the live learning sessions and completion of 80 percent of course assignments are required to receive a certificate of completion. Motivational Interviewing is NOT included in this course.
Technical Requirements: Webcam or access to an internet capable device equipped with a camera and a microphone (such as a smartphone or tablet).

$25 in-state
$500 out-of-state
Due to grant funding through June, we are able to offer this course to Colorado navigators for a nominal fee of $25. In-state navigators will be prioritized; if there are additional spots available, out of state participants will be accepted.
