Psychosocial & Behavioral Counselor
Contributes towards the delivery of quality health care with a concern for the well-being of those served. Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with Colorado State Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and Centura policies and standards of care.
CardioPulmonary Rehab department, part-time (24 hours a week), motivational interviewing skills preferred
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
Two years of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning. Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
Current Colorado State License in one of the following disciplines: Clinical Psychologist (PSY), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) For St. Anthony North Hospital and St. Anthony Hospital only: Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
