Community Outreach & Engagement Supervisor at Tepeyac Community Health Center
Job Summary: The Community Outreach and Engagement Supervisor serves as a frontline leader responsible for overseeing daily community outreach and engagement operations while advancing Tepeyac’s mission. This position ensures high quality patient experience through effective supervision of Community Outreach staff and serves as a key representative of Tepeyac within the community. The Supervisor provides direct oversight of the community outreach team, supports staff development and workflow efficiency, acts as an intermediary between Tepeyac staff and community partners and serves as the first point of escalation for operational and patient service concerns. Additionally, this role develops and implements outreach initiatives, health education programs, and community partnerships that increase awareness of Tepeyac services and improve access to care and health literacy among Latino/a and other underserved populations. This position collaborates closely with organizational leadership, providers, community organizations, and patients to support Tepeyac’s mission and strategic goals.
Salary Range:$27.81 To $30.77 Hourly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Education, Experience, and Language Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required; degree in Public Health, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of customer service or healthcare experience, with at least two years in a leadership, supervisory, outreach, or healthcare operations role.
• Experience in health promotion, community outreach, patient services, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Experience working with Latino/a and other underserved communities.
• Oral and written fluency in English required.
• Oral and written fluency in Spanish required.
