Dignity Health is currently recruiting a RN Patient Navigator that will be responsible for coordinating international patient services for Barrow Neurological Institute. This position is located in downtown Phoenix at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. You will be the liaison between patients and our clinical teams. Job responsibilities:
Coordinates international/destination patient services for Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Serves as the liaison between patients, physicians, nursing, allied health, support staff, to ensure care is coordinated and culturally attuned. Facilitates and coordinates payment arrangements, billing, medical records transmissions, translation services (if needed) and appointment services for patient. Provides travel information as needed for patient and patient advocate (transportation, lodging, etc.). Works with leaders to develop program components and pathways to deliver effective care and patient experience. Works with marketing team to develop outreach and positioning opportunities and tactics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Supports initiatives of the BNI Outreach & Patient Navigation department to facilitate and improve patient care, support, and coordination.
