The Immigrant Health Access Collaborative (IHAC) is a statewide coalition of organizations, advocates, and leaders working together to improve health care access for immigrant communities in Colorado. Founded by Colorado Community Health Alliance, Doctors Care, and Julissa Soto Latino Health Equity Consulting, IHAC is a shared space for collaboration, learning, and action.

Our purpose is to create a trusted, cross-sector network that:

  • Aligns on policy and advocacy strategies impacting immigrant communities
  • Coordinates culturally responsive outreach and education
  • Builds stronger relationships across organizations serving immigrants of all coverage types (Medicaid, uninsured, privately insured)

Who Should Join:

  • Community-based organizations serving immigrant and refugee communities
  • Health care providers and enrollment specialists
  • Advocates, legal services, and grassroots leaders
  • Public health departments, policy organizations, and health systems

Why It Matters:
Immigrant communities face unique barriers to accessing health care, from language and cultural gaps to exclusion from public programs. IHAC ensures that the voices of those most impacted shape the outreach, programs, and policies designed to serve them.
