This 8-week virtual course will include both online coursework (reading, quizzes, assignments) as well as Live Learning Sessions via Zoom. Live Learning Sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 11-noon Mountain Time (10-11 am PT/12-1 pm CT/1-2 pm ET) during the course. Participants should plan to attend all sessions:
- Sept. 14 – LLS 1 (Course Orientation)
- Sept. 21 – LLS 2
- Sept. 28 – LLS 3
- Oct. 5 – LLS 4
- Oct. 12 – LLS 5
- Oct. 19 – LLS 6
- Oct. 26 – LLS 7
- Nov. 2 – LLS 8
Please note: This course is instructor-led, not self-paced. There are assignments due every week. The time commitment is estimated to be 2-3 hours per week, but may be more or less. Permission from your supervisor is required. Attendance at the live learning sessions and completion of 80 percent of course assignments are required to receive a certificate of completion. Motivational Interviewing is NOT included in this course.
A certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful completion of this course.
Technical Requirements: Webcam or access to an internet capable device equipped with a camera and a microphone (such as a smartphone or tablet).
