The Community and Behavioral Health Division at Denver Public Health and Environment is hiring four Community Health Worker Apprentices for the CDC Health Disparities Grant. The apprenticeship program is one year of on-the-job training to gain skills and knowledge in public health. These positions are paid and have full benefits. The role’s responsibilities include working with community-based organizations, mobile COVID response units, and pop-up clinics to provide necessary information for connecting people to benefits and appropriate resources for clinical care and wrap-around services.
