Welcome! Health Navigation Fundamentals is an online, 8-week course designed to improve patient navigation skills. Each week has a variety of content to explore, activities to complete, and fosters discussions between you and your classmates. In addition, there will be a total of 8 required “Live Learning” sessions for you and your classmates to join. These live learning sessions allow discussion between you and subject matter experts, all without leaving the comfort of your home or office!
This comprehensive course is “Level 1” training for navigators who want to improve navigation skills and gain comprehensive knowledge of patient resources, basic health promotion, and professional conduct. We hope this will not only be a time for learning, but also for strengthening relationships and creating new networks. We invite you to take full advantage of this unique opportunity and we hope that you will find this experience both educational and enjoyable.

We have the right to remove you from the course if you are not participating. To receive a certificate, you must meet a course score of at least 80%, attend all Live Learning Sessions (LLS), AND complete the course evaluation.
