As trusted messengers. community health workers and health navigators can help provide reliable information about COVID-19 vaccinations and other routine immunizations. Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills can be used to guide respectful and empathetic discussions around vaccination.
In this course, you will learn MI and other communication skills to use with people who are vaccine hesitant.
Recommended Prerequisite: Familiarity with Basic Motivational Interviewing skills (Open Ended Questions, Affirmations, Reflections, Summaries). An overview of these skills can be found in the course: Motivational Interviewing: A Brief Introduction.
