Welcome!

You may be wondering why you are required to complete this course on human trafficking! Great question! Human trafficking is one of those events where many people think it doesn’t happen in their town, region or state. It does, however, and as a community health worker, health navigator, promotora de salud or peer specialist, you may actually be in contact with someone who is a victim or survivor of human trafficking.  Public health and health care facilities are important partners to help identify and support victims and survivors.
