Harpham, a physician and 26-year cancer survivor who has used her unique perspective to raise awareness among clinicians and empower patients to talk with their healthcare team about the challenges of survivorship.

The event will have a Patient Navigation “track” that includes sessions geared toward PNs, including:

  • Patient Navigation Across the Continuum of Care
  • Compassion Fatigue
  • Patient Assistance Panel (to learn about pharma assistance opportunities and other patient assistance resources)
  • Rural and Frontier challenges, barriers, and successes
  • Motivational Interviewing Training

There will also be sessions geared toward patients and caregivers but could also be of interest to patient navigators and other health care workers, including:

  • Understanding risk factors and increasing healthy behaviors
  • Symptom management
  • Mental health
  • Updates on Cannabis research
